Rockingstone Operating Co. was founded by Doug Borchert, a real estate investor and operator with over 15 years of experience leading sales and marketing teams for service-based businesses.

After scaling revenue for dozens of companies, Doug saw the opportunity to apply that same playbook to businesses that keep communities running - cleaning, maintenance, and other essential services. He started Rockingstone to buy and grow great local companies with strong teams, loyal customers, and long-standing reputations.

Doug’s goal is simple: protect the legacy owners have built, invest in their people, and scale the business the right way - with pride, care, and long-term perspective.

As you can see, Doug is a family man and lives in Westchester, NY with his wife and newborn baby girl. At his core, he believes family, trust, and hard work are what make a great life, and he brings this mentality into Rockingstone Op. Co. and the great businesses we support.
